Police

Cooperation

NSJC works closely with police at local, regional, national and Nordic levels to help protect Jewish communities. This includes joint protection assignments, training classes and exercises, exchange of antisemitic incident data and numerous advisory roles.

Nordic Police Network

A closer cooperation between police services and NJSC has been identified as a priority, which we are pursuing with the establishment of a Nordic network of resentatives of police services and NJSC staff. It is the first of its kind in the world. The Nordic Police Network will encourage cross-collaborations on many levels – sharing knowledge and experience as well as good practices and innovative techniques between police services and community security organizations

In the Nordic strategy against terrorism, counterterrorism efforts are divided into three areas: prevention, interception, and hindrance. NJSC is proud to assist the police in this work at our communities and their institutions.
